What data do we collect?
The data you provide through our contact, sale or valuation forms: your name, email address, phone number, the address or type of your property and the content of your message. Our technical providers also process limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser) to keep the site secure. We do not collect any special categories of data.
Purposes and legal bases
To answer your request and prepare a viewing, sale or valuation, we process your data on the basis of (pre-contractual) steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). To follow up your file in our CRM, we rely on our legitimate interest in assisting you properly (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). We send commercial messages only with your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. Site security relies on our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We rely on carefully selected processors acting solely on our behalf: SweepBright (CRM), Pando - NextdoorSEC BV (CRM and the valuation assistant on this site), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting and image storage) and Resend (email delivery). Map display is provided via OpenFreeMap/MapLibre. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.
Transfers outside the EU
We preferably store your data within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Data from a specific enquiry is kept for up to 3 years after our last contact. If a file or agreement results, the statutory retention periods apply, including those under anti-money-laundering law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object to certain processing. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@cicero.immo; we respond within the legal deadline. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
